Sanur is an excellent alternative for those seeking a quieter, slower paced holiday. Located on the eastern coastline of Bali , this famous fishing village boasts a newly developed yellow sand beach offering a variety of water sports and superb views across the bay. Visit Sanur's lively traditional beach market for bargains or catch a Balinese dance performance at one of Sanur's large selection of hotels and restaurants.
Sanur is easy to get around as there is only one road running the length of the town. The beach offers the best part of sanur – a full length paved sidewalk along the beach from the North to the South. Don't miss it – start at one end, have lunch along the way, a drink in the afternoon and even a swim. The walk is quite, shaded by trees and offers a great ocean view. Take a taxi back to your hotel if you don't want to stroll back.
However that being said, Kuta also has it share of fine, family oriented 3, 4 & 5 star hotels with many hotels and establishments being renovated & moving upscale.
In order to remain objective, hotels are listed in alphabetical order. We don't favor any hotel for any reason.
